- Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sejauh mana aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar dan guru bidang studi Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dengan komposisi siswa laki-laki 6 orang, perempuan 4 orang. Bentuk penelitian yang diterapkan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang menerapkan metode eksperimen dua siklus sebagai sebuah solusi dalam usaha perbaikan aktivitas belajar siswa khususnya mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan aktivitas pembelajaran siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar dari baseline 25,78% ke 42,39% pada pelaksanaan siklus 1 dan 58,72% pada pelaksanaan siklus 2. Dan Hasil tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan aktivitas rata-rata siswa sebesar 42,30% atau terkategori sedang dengan diterapkannya siklus 1 dan 2. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan, Aktivitas Belajar, Metode Eksperimen. Abstract:This study aimed to describe the extent to which the activity of students in natural science in the fourth grade primary school. The subjects of this study is the fourth grade elementary school students and teachers of Natural Sciences with the composition of the male students six people, women 4 people. Form of applied research is the Classroom Action Research to apply the experimental method two cycles as a solution in an effort to repair student learning activities in particular subjects of Natural Sciences. The results showed an increase in activity of student learning in the learning of Natural Science in Elementary School fourth grade from baseline 25.78 % to 42.39 % in execution cycles 1 and 58.72 % in the execution cycle 2. And Results concluded that there was an increase in the average student activity by 42.30 % or categorized being with implementation cycles 1 and 2 .
