  • The quality of education is determined by the quality of instructional process. The component in the instructional process consists of  teaching material, instructional media, methods and evaluation tools. In fact, based on research JP2KY known that 75% of teachers do not use media in the instructional process. The purpose of this reserch  to determine the media used in instructional process and the reasons for selecting media on class XI IPS  SMAN 1 Driyorejo Gresik. Then the media will be tested for feasibility with eligibility criteria based on expert review of the content components, language components, and  presentation components  to determine the feasibility of such media. This study is a descriptive research with quantitative approach. Techniques of data collection are documentation and interviews. Research instrument is a lattice grille interviews and expert questionnaire study. Techniques of  data analysis using descriptive analysis. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that the media used in instructional process in accounting subject class XI IPS SMAN 1 Driyorejo Gresik is powerpoint. Media were selected based on practicality in use. The review of media experts suggest that the powerpoint was very feasible.   Keyword : instructional media, powerpoint, feasibility
