  • The purpose of this research is to get an overview of the coping strategies used by students at Islamic Boarding School X. The research method used is a qualitative research method using a case study approach. The participants in this study were 4 students who memorized the Al-Qur'an as well. Data was collected using a semi-structured interview technique to participants and SO (Significant Other). The data analysis technique in this study uses thematic data analysis. The test used for the validity of the data in this study is triangulation of sources and using reference materials. The results of this study were that the 4 participants used these 2 coping strategies to deal with the pressures and problems they faced. 4 participants used Problem Focused Coping when their memorization was not smooth and their memorization was difficult to enter, the behavior that emerged was repeating the reading. Emotion Focused Coping was also used by the 4 participants but the behavior that each individual raised was different, namely there was calming down first, withdrawing, keeping silent, telling each other stories, and of course asking Allah SWT for peace and help.
