- The aims of this research are to increase the discipline and study result of the students through the implementation of cooperative learning type make a match model at the first grade of A class at state junior high school Metro Utara. The kind of this research is classroom action research with planing, acting, observing, and reflecting step. Collecting the data use observation sheet to the discipline data, and worksheet test to the learning result data. The discipline data is analyzed with the qualitative analyzes technique. Whereas the learning result data analyzed with quantitative analyzes technique. The research showed that implementation of cooperative learning type make a match model can increase the discipline and the learning result.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan disiplin dan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model cooperative learning tipe make a match kelas I A SD Negeri I Metro Utara. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi untuk data disiplin dan lembar tes untuk data hasil belajar. Data disiplin siswa dianalisis dengan teknik analisis kualitatif, sedangkan data hasil belajar dianalisis dengan teknik analisis kuantitatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan penerapan model cooperative learning tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan disiplin dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: cooperative learning tipe make a match, disiplin, hasil belajar.
