  • The problem in this study was that the principal did not know that he had implemented a learning organization. The study aims to describe and explain the leadership of the principals in implementing a learning organization. Data analysis with data reduction, data display and verification. Qualitative descriptive research method with triangulation technique. Informants: principal, educator, TU, committe and parent. The focus of the descriptive study was the leadership of the school principal in implementing a learning organization at SD Negeri 2 Perumnas Way Halim Bandar Lampung. Subfocus research: (1) principal leadership in implementing personal mastery, (2) principal leadership in implementing mental models, (3) principal leadership in implementing shared vision, (4) principal leadership in implementing team learning and (5) the principal leadership in implementing system thinking. The result of this study was that the principal had implemented a learning organization even though the personal mastery component had not been maximally implemented. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah belum mengetahui telah mengimplementasikan learning organization. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengimplementasikan learning organization. Analisis data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik triangulasi. Informan: kepala sekolah, pendidik, TU, komite dan orang tua. Fokus penelitian sudi deskriptif kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengimplementasikan learning organization di SD Negeri 2 Perumnas Way Halim Bandar Lampung. Subfokus penelitian: (1) kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengimplementasikan personal mastery, (2) kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengimplementasikan mental models, (3) kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengimplementasikan shared vision, (4) kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengimplementasikan team learning dan (5) kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengimplementasikan system thinking. Hasil penelitian ini kepala sekolah telah mengimplementasikan learning organization meskipun komponen personal mastery belum maksimal diterapkan.
