  • The problem in this research is the low of Ability Eksplanasi of curriculum learning 2013 of SD Negeri 1 Pringsewu Soulth. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of problem based learning to Ability Eksplanasi of students. The method of the research was quasi experimental design and non-equivalent control group desing. This research used non probobility samping. The instrument of the research was test and non test. The results of data analysis can be concluded that there is influence of the implementation prolem based learning to Ability Eksplanasi of class IV SD Negeri 1 Pringsewu Soulth. Masalah dalam penelitian ini rendahnya kemampuan eksplanasi peserta didik pada pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 SD Negeri 1 Pringsewu Selatan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh problem based learning terhadap kemampuan eksplanasi peserta didik. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi exsperiment dan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group desing. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling non probobility sampling dengan jenis rendom sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan non tes. Hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan problem based learning terhadap kemampuan eksplanasi peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Pringsewu Selatan Kata kunci: kurikulum 2013, kemampuan eksplanasi, problem based learning.
