- The research purposes were to increase student’s activity and learning achievement of mathematic by applying mapping in quantum teaching model. Type of research method was classroom action research by using some cycles; planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data collecting techniques were observation sheet and question test. The techniques of analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The result of research showed that the applying mapping in quantum teaching model can increase student’s activity and learning achievement of mathematic.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan mapping dalam model quantum teaching. Jenis metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan setiap siklus, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan mapping dalam model quantum teaching dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa.
