- This study aims to (1) describe the prototype of an integrated comic media of local culture tumpek wariga as an effort to increase concern for the environment in early childhood. (2) measuring the validity of integrated comic media for local culture tumpek wariga as an effort to increase concern for the environment in early childhood. (3) measuring the practicality of integrated comic media for local culture tumpek wariga as an effort to increase concern for the environment in early childhood. (4) measuring the effectiveness of integrated comic media for local culture tumpek wariga as an effort to increase concern for the environment in early childhood. This research is a development research adapted from the 4-D model developed by (Thiagarajan, Sivasailam, 1974). The development consists of four stages, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. This research was carried out in kindergartens and early childhood education throughout Banjar District. The results of the validation of material aspects from practitioners obtained a score of 12 and, the results of validation of construction aspects obtained a score of 10.6. And the last one, the language aspect validation result was 9.8 with an average of 10.8 valid categories. The practicality of comic media from the lecturer's response to the implementation of comics is very practical in the affective and practical aspects in the interactive, interesting, efficient and creative aspects. Meanwhile, the results of the teacher's response to the implementation of the module are practical in all aspects, namely affective, interactive, interesting, efficient and creative aspects. The effectiveness of comic media is known to have a significance value of 0.000. Because the significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 in accordance with the basis of decision making in the Paired Sample t-test, it can also be concluded that the application of integrated comics of local culture tumpek wariga affects children's concern for the environment.
- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan prototype media komik terintegrasi budaya lokal tumpek wariga sebagai upaya peningkatan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan pada anak usia dini. (2) mengukur validitas media komik terintegrasi budaya lokal tumpek wariga sebagai upaya peningkatan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan pada anak usia dini. (3) mengukur kepraktisan media komik terintegrasi budaya lokal tumpek wariga sebagai upaya peningkatan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan pada anak usia dini. (4) mengukur efektifitas media komik terintegrasi budaya lokal tumpek wariga sebagai upaya peningkatan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan diadaptasi dari model 4-D yang dikembangkan oleh (Thiagarajan, Sivasailam, 1974). Pengembangannya terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu define, design, develop dan disseminate. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK dan PAUD se-Kecamatan Banjar. Hasil validasi aspek materi dari praktisi memperoleh skor 12 dan, hasil validasi aspek konstruksi memperoleh skor 10,6. Dan yang terakhir hasil validasi aspek bahasa berada memperoleh skor 9,8 dengan rata- rata 10.8 berkatagori valid. Kepraktisan media komik hasil respon dosen terhadap keterlaksanaan komik adalah sangat praktis pada aspek afektif dan praktis pada aspek interaktif, menarik, efisien dan kreatif. Sedangkan hasil respon guru terhadap keterlaksanaan modul adalah praktis pada semua aspek yaitu aspek afektif, interaktif, menarik, efisien dan kreatif. Efektifitas media komik diketahui nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Karena nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 sesuai dengan dasar pengambilan keputusan dalam Paired Sample t-test, maka dapat disimpulkan pula bahwa penerapan komik terintegrasi budaya lokal tumpek wariga berpengaruh terhadap kepedulian anak terhadap lingkungan.
