- Abstract : This research is a classroom action research conducted at fifth grade of SD Negeri 2 Tanjung Medang North Rupat Sub-district which is motivated by low learning result of science student and still many students who have not reached KKM. From 25 students only 11 students (44%) who reached KKM on daily test of IPA with grade average grade 65,21. The purpose of this study is to improve science learning outcomes by using cooperative learning model type Rotating review because this learning model encourages students to be ready to think critically and analistically in learning groups. Research instruments consist of syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets and observation sheets. This study was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisted of 2 meetings in each meeting assisted by the observer in observing the activities of teachers and students, while for student learning outcomes obtained through daily tests every cycle. At the first meeting of the first cycle of teacher activity averages 62.50% with good category, at the second meeting the average teacher activity increased to 70.83% also in the Good category. At the first meeting of cycle II the average teacher activity was 79.17% with the Good category and at the second meeting with an average of 87.5% activity in the Very Good category. The first meeting of the first cycle of the average student activity 54.16% with sufficient category, at the second meeting the average activity increased to 66.67% with good category. At the first meeting of cycle II the average of 75% student activity in both category and at the second meeting increased compared to the previous meeting with the average student activity 79,17% with good category. Student learning outcomes on preliminary student data above the KKM only 11 people (44%) with an average grade grade of 65.21. After cycle I in UH 1 students who have value above KKM counted 16 people (64%) with average class 67,2 and so on in cycle II result UH 2 students who got score above KKM counted 23 people (92%) with average 78.2. This means that the classic value obtained by students has been above the KKM that has been set. This shows that the model of rotating type cooperative review can improve the learning outcomes of science students SD Negeri 2 Tanjung Medang.Keywords: Rotating Review Type Cooperative Model, IPA learning outcomes
