- Abstract: This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 2 Siak District Siak with the aim to know the factors that affect the difficulty of learning and the contribution of internal and external factors that affect the learning difficulties in understanding the material on the economic subjects of class X students in SMA Negeri 2 Siak Siak District. The population in this study are all students of class X as many as 148 students and the sample to be studied is in accordance with the criteria or characteristics of students who have learning difficulties that show low learning outcomes as many as 60 students. The collecting data used was observation, questionnaires and documentation. The analysis data used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that internal factors and external factors partially significant effect on learning difficulties. Based on the regression coefficient, the influence of internal factors amounted to 0,296 with an average of 40,98 and external factors of 0,637 with an average of 30,48. Internal factors and external factors simultaneously affect the learning difficulties in understanding the material demand and supply on economic subjects of class X students in SMA Negeri 2 Siak is by determination of 80,5%. While the remaining 19,5% influenced by other variables that are not included in this study.Keywords: Internal Factors, External Factors, Learning Difficulties
