  • AbstractThere are many and lack of public awareness about breakfast and the number of adolescents who are enrgy and protein consumption under %RDA. Purpose of this study analyze the relationship breakfast, adequacy of energy and protein on the nutritional status of adolescents aged 16-18 years old in the Province of Lampung. This study used secondary data of Riskesdas 2010 with a cross sectional survey design and analytic. Sampel obtained 387 people. Statistical testing using independent t-test and chi-square test. The statistical tests showed no significant association bertween breakfast energy intake (p≥0.05), protein intake (p≥0.05, and no significant relationship between breakfast, sufficient energy (p≥0.05), protein (p≥0.05) on the status adolescent nutrition. There needs to be outreach to teens about the importance of breakfast and its benefits for the body, as well as education about balanced nutrition. Keywords : breakfast, energy, protein, teenagers AbstrakMasih banyak dan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat mengenai sarapan dan banyaknya remaja yang konsumsi energi dan protein dibawah %AKG. Tujuan penelitian ini Menganalisa hubungan sarapan, kecukupan energi dan protein terhadap status gizi remaja usia 16-18 tahun di Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder Riskesdas 2010 dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dan design survey analitik. Sampel yang didapat 387 orang. Pengujian statistik menggunakan uji t-test independen dan uji chi-square. Dari hasil uji statistik menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sarapan asupan energi (p≥0.05), asupan protein (p≥0.05) dan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sarapan, kecukupan energi (p≥0.05), protein (p≥0.05) terhadap status gizi remaja. Perlu adanya penyuluhan kepada remaja mengenai pentingnya sarapan dan manfaatnya bagi tubuh, serta penyuluhan mengenai gizi seimbang.Kata kunci: sarapan, energi, protein, remaja
