- Nowadays there are many identification methods of signature, but most of the methods have weaknesses because they don't enable to do 'learning process' of a certain people's signature which are not exactly similar. Practically this learning ability is required that the system as able to learn the totally different signatures from a certain people. To overcome the weakness, the identification method of signature having the ability to do the learning process of signature which is given should be submitted. The method itself is the identification method of signature with artificial neural network. The purposes of this paper are to identify signature and to see the level of performance of signature identification. In its implementation it was found that the performance of signature reaches 80% from its level of success. This level could be improved by adding the set (collection) of signature data for learning process. This happens because of the more data for learning process the better identification of signature. The identification method of signature with this artificial neural network could improve the way of signature identification using conventional old methods like Statistics and Geometry with the static characteristic. Whereas the system application program cannot be 'smarter'. While by using the method of artificial neural network the system is 'smarter' because it keeps on doing the learning process based on the available signature data.
