PENERAPAN TALENT MANAGEMENT DALAM MENGHADAPI SITUASI PANDEMI COVID-19 DI GRAND TEBU HOTEL BANDUNG

- ABSTRACT Hospitality industry has experienced a degression by Covid-19 Pandemic as the cause. The recovery period has pushed the hospitality industry to run more shipshape and careful operational. The employee cutback to control the cost and expenses has become one phenomenon that Grand Tebu Hotel is currently facing. To survive during this pandemic, Grand T ebu Hotel has implemented talent management in their employee compliance. T alent management in this research uses The Talent Development System approach, that brings up 7 variables of theoretical framework, that are; Strategic HR Planning, Talent Identification, Developing, Challenging, Career Management, and Succession Planning. This research brought to know the talent management implementation in Grand Tebu Hotel Bandung in dealing with Covid-19 Pandemic. Qualitative approach has been used for this research by using interview as the data-collection method with Human Resources Coordinator of Grand Tebu Hotel Bandung, equipped with several documentation that the writer has done to complete the research data. The result of this research will be analyzed using three focuses, that are; the potential problem, the implication if the phenomenon hasn’t been resolved, and the anticipation policy to deal with the issue. Overall, Grand Tebu Hotel has done good enough in implementing talent management in order to deal with the current Covid-19 Pandemic, however, not documented in systematic way. By the end of this chapter, the writer will provide a summary of the research result and study, followed with some recommendation for Grand Tebu Hotel Bandung.
