ANALISIS KEPUASAN KERJA TERHADAP TURNOVER PEGAWAI DI HOTEL NEW MOONLIGHT BANDUNG

- This research is entitled Analysis of Job Satisfaction Against Employee Turnover at Hotel New Moonlight Bandung. This study aims to determine respondents' responses to job satisfaction, employee turnover and to determine the effect of job satisfaction (X) on employee turnover (Y) at New Moonlight Hotel Bandung. In accordance with the observations and interviews that the author has done, there are 2 facts, namely employees often do overtime and do job descriptions outside of their supposed job descriptions. The author suspects that job satisfaction is the cause of the high turnover intention rate. There are 21 factors that affect a person's job satisfaction, these factors are mentioned by Robbins & Judge (2013) and there are several factors that can cause turnover according to Hanafiah (2014). This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 23 employees of New Moonlight Hotel Bandung, which is then processed using SPSS version 24 software analysis tools for Macintos. The results of the descriptive analysis showed a very good average value of 4.28 for job satisfaction, and a good average value of 3.66 for employee turnover. The results of simple linear regression analysis show that the R Square value of 0.097 or 9.7% of employee turnover at New Moonlight Hotel Bandung is influenced by existing job satisfaction, while the remaining 90.3% is influenced by other variables not studied and influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic. Recommendations that can be applied by New Moonlight Hotel Bandung to reduce employee turnover are by increasing the values or benefits that employees get, such as increasing salaries, allowances and others, providing long-term work contracts, and hiring employees who both become permanent employees and evaluate employees gradually.
