- The purpose of this research is enhance the student interest and learning outcomes of student in class XI IPA 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Masaran by applying the teaching model of cooperative learning with flipchart media in history subject.This research is a classsroom action research (CAR). The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycles consisting of a plan, action, observation, and reflection. The subject were 30 students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Masaran. Source of data was derived from the teacher, the student and the learning process. Data collection technique were implemented by conducting test, observations, interviews, documentation, and questionnaries. Testing the data validity was by using triangulations technique. Data analysis was conducted by using comparative descriptions analysis technique. The research model used wa sspiral model (Planning, Acting, Observing, dan Reflecting).The implementation of teaching model of cooperative learning example non example type with flipchart media could enhance the students interest and learning outcomes pf studying history subject of class XI IPA 1 in precycle to the first cycle and from cycle I to cycle II. The students interest in pre cycle was 59,58% which increased to 74,53% in the first cycle and 82,33% in the second cycle. The completeness of student learning outcomes in pre-cycle was 53.33% which increased to 70% in the first cycle and sucesfully developed to 93,33 % in the second cycle. Based on the result of research and discussion, it can be drawn the conclusion that the theaching model of cooperative learning example non example type with flipchart media enhance the student interest and learning outcomes of class XI IPA 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Masaran.
