- The objectives of research were: 1) to find ut the relationship between understanding of national history of Indonesia with nationalism’s attitude class XI IPS SMA N 1 Ngemplak Boyolali, 2) to find ut the relationship between social solidarity with nationalism’s attitude class XI IPS SMA N 1 Ngemplak Boyolali, and 3) to find ut the relationship between understanding of national history of Indonesia and social solidarity with nationalism’s attitude class XI IPS SMA N 1 Ngemplak Boyolali. This study was a descriptive quantitative research using statistical analysis to draw a conclusion. The population of research was all of XI IPS grades in SMA N 1 Ngemplak Boyolali. The sample consisted of 99 students taken using random sampling technique. The data needed was obtained through questionnaire and test. The questionnaire and test of analyzing ata used was a multiple linear regression analysis, F-, t-, R2-test, and relative and effective contributions. The conclusions of research were as: 1) there is a positively relationship between understanding of national history of Indonesia with nationalism’s attitude class XI IPS SMA N 1 Ngemplak Boyolali. It could be seen from the multiple linear regression analysis (t-test) showing that tstatistic > ttable, 2,164 > 1,673, and the significance value ttable, 2,117> 1,673 and the significance value < 0,05, of 0,039 with the relative contribution of 48,7% and the effective contribution of 6,2%. 3) there is a positively relationship between understanding of national history of Indonesia and social solidarity simultaneously with nationalism’s attitude class XI IPS SMA N 1 Ngemplak Boyolali could be supported. It could be seen from the multiple linear regression variance analysis (F-test) showing that Fstatistic > Ftable, 3,991 > 3,165 and the significance value < 0,05, of 0,024. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0,127 indicated that understanding of national history of Indonesia and social solidarity affected 12,7% the student’s of class XI IPS SMAN 1 Ngemplak Boyolali, while the rest was effected by other variables.
