- The article is dedicated to a geographical analysis of the current state and prospects for the development of solar energy in the United States of America. This paper identifies the main features and patterns of the formation of the territorial structure of the industry in the region, as well as the factors that determined the development of solar energy. As a result of the study, we can conclude that there is now a gradual expansion of the geography of solar energy in the United States, contributing to the transformation of the territorial structure of the industry from monocentric to polycentric.
