METHODOLOGY OF FORMING FUNCTIONAL IN THE OPTIMAL CONTROL ELECTRIC SMELTING

  • The aim of research is to construct an algorithm for calculating the optimal technological scheme of electric smelting in furnaces operating in a composition with a casting conveyor, which is included in the program for controlling the processes of melting, thermal treatment and delivery of the melt to the conveyor. The object of research is the control process of the operating system "electric furnace - casting conveyor", considered as a queuing system (QS). The following research methods were selected: - methods of management theory, in terms of the formation of management quality criteria, - methods for modeling the system with failures – for calculating the performance indicators of the "electric furnace - casting conveyor" system, - methods of experiment planning – to construct a regression equation describing the dependence of the total costs in the technological process due to the absence of metal and holding excess melt in the furnace on the intensity of melt orders generated by the conveyor and the average execution time of these orders, - methods for studying the response surface – to find optimal solutions for constructing a technological scheme for electric melting. A methodology for the formation of a functional for calculating the optimal control of electric smelting is described on the basis of two alternative considerations – maximizing the productivity of equipment and minimizing costs during its operation. A procedure for choosing the optimal control of the electrosmelting process is proposed on the basis of the implementation of the melting technological scheme, which matches the operation of different sections of the "furnace - casting conveyor" system. It is shown that the formation of the structure of the functional during the synthesis of optimal control of electric melting can be carried out on the basis of studying the operation of the furnace as an element of the queuing system. The resulting functionality combines the requirements for the management process of a quantitative and qualitative nature. The general procedure for synthesizing the optimal technological scheme of melting, included in the control program of the operating system "furnace - casting conveyor", can be based on the results of mathematical modeling of the furnace as an element of the queuing system and analysis of the response surface constructed according to this model. In this case, the basis is the construction of an optimal technological scheme of smelting, which makes it possible to determine the amount of melt delivered to the casting conveyor in response to the generation of requests for melt of a given intensity. The obtained results can be used to synthesize the control of an electric furnace operating as part of a casting conveyor.
