- In this paper, firstly, definition of vorticity, vorticity equation and laws of vortex motion are introduced. Two- dimensional vortex motion is explored using complex variable methods. Secondly, the influence of solid boundaries and Green’s function are discussed. Twodimensional Green’s function for half-plane is also discussed. Finally, the vortex surface interaction noise in two dimensions and the sound produced by vortex motion near a half-plane are presented.
