- The essence and peculiarities of functioning of the organizational mechanism of financial security management at the regional level are considered in the article. The functions of organizational mechanism of financial security management at the regional level are determined and their characteristics are grounded. The main state bodies with powers in the area of financial security management of the regions are considered as institutional elements of the mechanism under study. The financial elements of the organizational mechanism, which are the financial resources necessary for the realization of the basic tasks of socio-economic development of individual territories, are mentioned. The issues of decentralization and budget decentralization in the direction of improving financial security management at the regional level are considered.
