- The article highlights the problems of organization and management of the processes of self-development of the personality of a future specialist in the educational system of Ukraine. An analysis of scientific research and the results of the phenomenon of conscious self-development of the personality and its main forms achieved during the end of the 19th century are presented. – the beginning of the XXI century., including scientific achievements, published in the “Scientific Notes” of the Kharkov Humanitarian Institute “People’s Ukrainian Academy”. Attention is drawn to the need to guide the processes of students’ self-education activities and their direct self-development in educational institutions of Ukraine by shifting the teaching staff from traditional pedagogy to partnership pedagogy.
