- There has been respectable progress in recent years in addressing the clinical and medical specialty limitations of hydrogels for drug delivery applications however substantial challenges stay. Here we tend to discuss recent progress in overcoming these challenges, notably with regards to effectively delivering hydrogels within the body while not implantation, prolonging the discharge dynamics of medicine from hydrogels, and increasing the character of medicine which may be delivered victimization hydrogel-based approaches.
