- These datasets include the number of counts of pre-identified words related to limnological research found in abstracts of research (oral presentations and poster) for freshwater research presented at the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO) between 2004 and 2016. The raw data have been obtained from the Schneider group, and they have been summarized to build tables and figures in the associated Lapierre et al. paper (Limnology and Oceanography Letters. 2019). Additional datasets includes the number of counts of pre-identified words related to limnological research found in abstracts of articles found in Web of Science between 1994 and 2017. These data allowed us to compare research trends presented at ASLO meetings to those found in the scientific literature.
