  • Thisaims of the study is to find the differences of mathematicslearning result students who follow the model of Problem Based Learning withthe conventional model after controlling mathematical logical intelligence.This research isquasi experiment with non equivalentcontrol group design. The population in this study consists of 10 classes with 374 students. The samples in this study conducted by simple random sampling technique.There are two sample, class VII F (experiment group) and class VII H (control group). Data were collected by testand observation method. Instruments used in collecting data are mathematical logical intelligenceand mathematicslearning result test. The analysis used in this research is t-test and covariance analysis.The results of the data analyst are: (1)there are differences of mathematicslearning result students who follow the model of Problem Based Learning withthe conventional model, (2) there are differences of mathematicslearning result students who follow the model of Problem Based Learning withthe conventional modelafter controlling mathematical logical. Based that, it can be conclude that there are the effect of mathematicslearning result between students who follow the model of Problem Based Learning withthe conventional model learning by controlling mathematical logical intelligence of students on class VII SMP Negeri 2 Mengwi 2016/2017.
