- The newly-discovered parchment written on August 10, 1188 by Genoese notary Guglielmo Cassinese for the consuls of the commune of Savona allows to study with more depth a series of contracts preserved at the Archivio di Stato di Savona that are connected to the aforementioned document. In particular, these documents enable to reconsider the notary who wrote these deeds within the panorama of professionals who belonged to the Genoese notariate, and to shed light on the activities of some of these notaries and their relationship with the commune of Savona.
