- In the course of the research: the definition of "innovation potential" is given; normative and legal acts regulating innovative activity are summarized; the tendency to decrease in activity of innovative activity in Ukraine is revealed; foreign experience and the role of innovative strategies in increasing the competitiveness of products, enterprises, the country as a whole; Positive and negative factors influencing the development of the innovation process in Ukraine were identified.
