- Snowball throwing method is one method to improve studentâ€TMs motivation to learn and studentâ€TMs achievement in mathematic. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of the research is the class VIIIA SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta. It is conducted in two cycles, each cycles consists of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The data revealed from observation, questionnaire, test and documentation. The result of the research was there are increasing studentâ€TMs motivation and studentâ€TMs achievement. Suggestions researchers , teachers can use the learning model as an alternative to snowball throwing in an effort to improve learning motivation and student achievement in math.
