- The purposes of this research was to describe the motivation and achievement of mathematics in VIII A grade of SMP N 1 Pleret Bantul using Numbered Heads Together (NHT). This research is Class Action Research (CAR). The technique of data done by observation, questionnaire, tests and documentation. The results of research that the motivation and achievement of mathematics is increased. Achievement of the KKM also increased. Based the results of the research, Numbered Heads Together (NHT) can increase motivation and achievement of mathematics. So, teachers can implement Numbered Heads Together (NHT) as a variation of learning.
