  • HUBUNGAN EKSPRESI RESEPTOR ASIALOGLYCOPROTEIN PLASENTA DENGAN RESPON AWAL VAKSINASI HEPATITIS B PADA BAYI BARU LAHIR DARI IBU POSITIF HBsAg Abstrak Latar Belakang : Virus Hepatitis B (VHB) merupakan penyebab infeksi kronis virus di dunia. Mother to child transmission (MTCT) merupakan salah satu mekanisme penularan utama infeksi VHB. Background :Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is the cause of chronic viral infection in the world. Mother to child transmission (MTCT) is one of the main transmission mechanisms of HBV infection. ASGP-R expression can be expressed outside hepatocytes, one of which is in the placenta. Anti-HBs levels in infants are one of the markers of immunity to HBV. Aim :The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between ASGP-R expression of HBsAg positive placenta and the initial response to hepatitis B vaccination of the baby Method :The research design was cross sectional. There were 30 samples of placenta positive for HBsAg mothers and their babies, in Makassar. Analysis of placental ASGP-R expression and Anti-HBs levels were performed in the baby. Results : A total of 30 samples of HBsAg positive mothers obtained low placental ASGP-R expression in 24 (80%) samples while 6 (20%) with high expression .Anti-HBs responsive infants were 24 (80%) and non- responsive were 6 (20%) There is no significant correlation between placental ASGP-R expression with the baby's anti-HBs response with p value = 1,000. There was no significant relationship between sex, gestational age, birth weight, maternal HBeAg status and baby HBsAg status with baby anti-HBs response . Conclusion :This study showed that there was no correlation between placental ASGP-R expression and with baby's anti-HBs response. Keywords : ASIALOGLYCOPROTEIN , HEPATITIS B, BAYI BARU LAHIR
