  • ABSTRACT UNIVERSITY OF HASANUDDIN FACULTY OF PUBLIC HEALTH OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MAKASSAR, JULI 2012 AINY SYAHRUNI “THE FACTORS THAT RELATED TO JOB STRESS ON RELIGIOUS COURT EMPLOYEES OF MAKASSAR CITY 2012” (xii + 87 + 18 Tables + 8 attachments) Background : Job stress is a response adaptive felt by workers derived from interaction between working conditions with the properties of workers that can disturb mental functions; physical, and chemically in the body if not responded positively. The research purpose to know the factor of relation with job stress on religious court employees of Makassar city 2012. The Method: The kind of research used in this research is survey analytic with a design cut latitudes ( cross sectional study ) with large sample about 56 respondents obtained by technique the sample purposive sampling. The Result : the result of this research show that 41,1 % of respondents potentially stress suffered mild. Meanwhile, 58,9 % of respondents potentially stress suffered heavy. From the test statistics chi square factor that related against job stress as a burden of work. While age, gender, marital state, working time, of office, and income it has not relation by stress work. Conclusion: Expected for employees to know more possible early traits of job stress be it a little stress, moderate stress or severe stress so management stress is applied more effective to have no continuance that can affect the comfort of living and productivity work. And should keep time off and also healthy life. For chairman and superior in religious court expected to conduct management techniques stress the exact and appropriate, especially to overcome burden work faced by employees. Also expected about the sports ( gymnastics morning along ) as weekend, besides to maintain employee-health, sport is also the act of relaxasi employees at work to not easily stress.
