- The objective of this research is to know the influence between leadership of principal and work attitude of teacherâ€TMs to pedagogical competence of Junior High School teachers in Gadingrejo Regency. This research is ex post facto research this is meant to investigate past events and see the past to know the factors which cause the event happened. The data of this research uses the question of Likertâ€TMs Scale. Meanwhile the data analysis was using the similarity of simple linear regression and multi regression. The result of research shows that the influence of Principal leadership to pedagogy competence is 63,4%, the influence of teacherâ€TMs attitude to pedagogy competence is 64.0%, then the influence both between the leadership of Principal and teachers work attitude to pedagogy competence is 78,6%.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan sikap kerja guru terhadap kompetensi paedagogik guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Gadingrejo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan menyelidiki peristiwa yang telah terjadi dan kemudian merunut ke belakang untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya peristiwa tersebut. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket degan skala Likert. Sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan persamaan regresi linier sederhana dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru sebesar 63,4%, pengaruh sikap kerja guru terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru sebesar 64,0%, kemudian pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan sikap kerja guru terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru sebesar 78,6%.Kata kunci: kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kompetensi paedagogik, sikap kerja guru
