- Railways as one of the modes of land transportation has a very important role and has many advantages when compared to other modes of transportation. In support of train travel operations and guaranteeing the safety of the trip, every train facility, especially trains to transport people, including KRL, KRD and KRDE that will be operated, must be inspected according to the schedule determined at the treatment place, namely in Purwokerto Railway Depot. The quality of maintenance results is not only determined by human resources, the availability of parts or components, but also by the availability of work equipment, inspection equipment, location, conditions and supporting facilities. This paper contains an evaluation of the equipment in Purwokerto Railroad Depot in support of railroad maintenance and the subsequent preparation of the minimum equipment requirements that must be owned with the target being met and the achievement of railroad maintenance. The results obtained are the creation of railroad maintenance activities by providing equipment facilities at the Purwokerto Railroad Depot which are needed by technicians in carrying out inspection, maintenance and repair tasks.
