- Recording attendance is an important factor in a company or agency. Information about attendance can determine work performance, productivity and progress of the institution in general. Until now, there are still many companies and institutions that use attendance records manually or in writing of their misfortune at the government office of the Maos Kidul Village office, Maos District, Cilacap Regency. This has become one of the problems that occur at this time, which causes frequent errors and gaps for employees to arrive on time or not absent due to the absence of time in real time, so that the presence becomes uncontrolled. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to build an attendance system by utilizing technology that is RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) which integrates a website application. This RFID consists of several main components namely Tag and Reader which function to read information regarding the presence of employees. RFID reader has 100% tag reading accuracy, so with this system the presence will be more accurate based on time attendance / real time, so as to optimize employee attendance programs to be more controlled and improve employee discipline. This research was built using the prototyping methods and was designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). Form the result of this study the creation of employee attendance application that can be connected with the tool so that attendance data can be stored automatically in a database with a fast time. Based on its function RFID functions as a presence identification tool which is expected to increase effectiveness and to be more controlled in conducting attendance.
