- The purpose of this study is to discuss an e-commerce-based information system on Gumelem batik to help and increase sales in order to make online orders and provide information on the latest products sold to customers through the website. The research method was carried out with 3 methods namely, data research methods such as interviews and literature studies and documentation. The data research method was carried out in determining the information needed by research activities. The interview method is carried out directly to the location by collecting data based on interviews with the owner directly. System development method The method used to develop an information system, which is a standard process that is followed to complete all the steps needed to analyze, discuss, implement and improve information systems. Waterfall is a model developed for developing software, making software. Models develop systematically from one direction to another in models such as waterfalls. The agreed result is that the e-commerce system requires a sales system based on e-commerce websites, the existence of e-commerce websites is expected to make it easier for batik to be effective and efficient so that sales targets can be developed. The conclusion that can be drawn is the internet which is a medium that can help and support business development.
