- STMIK Amikom Purwokerto is one of the IT-oriented colleges. One of the IT trend supporters that is used as a solution to face competition is the optimal application of information systems. one of the information systems used is the new student admission system (SI PMB) in the Public Relations and Cooperation section. The application of information systems cannot be separated from the existence of a risk that can affect the performance of the system. One of the risks is not issuing a notification and attaching the results of a written test to prospective new students and interviewers so that it can pose a risk for new student candidates to be wrong in considering the study program to be taken. The absence of operational standard procedures to deal with these risks so that the handling of these risks becomes optimal. This study uses the COBIT 5 framework which is focused on domain EDM and APO with the respective sub domains of EDM03 (Ensure Risk Optimization) and APO12 (Manage Risk) in order to determine the level of capability of the EDM03 and APO12 processes in the current organization and formulate corrective steps that can be done to achieve the expected target. The results of calculation of capability level in each domain, namely EDM03 are at level 2 (Manage Process) and in APO12 domains are at level 1 (Performed Process).
