- Today many people have taken advantage of the advances in computer technology to learn music ranging from guitars, drums, pianos or other musical instruments. A musical instrument that is quite common and easy to play and supported by affordable prices is a guitar. In addition, the guitar also has a fairly wide range of tones, so the music produced tends to be soft and is liked by many people. The purpose of this study is to make an Android application to help users learn chords or basic guitar keys, with the aim of making it easier for everyone who plays the guitar and gets information about how to play a guitar. In this study, an application was developed for learning media for guitar chords on an Android-based mobile musical instrument using 2d images, photos and videos to be used as learning methods. The method of using any part of cyberspace and real as a target for object placement. There are basic forms of major chords and minor chords along with the sound form that can be raised, so that this application can help the learning process of the chord shape on a guitar musical instrument. The results of this study are expected to be a reference material for further research related to the development of Android-based applications, especially for students and for Practitioners and Academics Music can facilitate access to guitar chord learning applications, so that it can be applied in learning music.
