- Promotion is one of the factors that determine a marketing program to provide information about a product or introduce a tourist spot through social media users. This activity is considered as an appropriate alternative to attract someone's interest in goods, services, tourist attractions, or anything offered by the company or promotion. This promotional media research aims to apply cinematographic techniques as a promotional media for Bunton Pekuncen Tourism. The limitation of the problem in this study is to introduce local tourism to outside communities, especially outside the Pekuncen village, especially millennials. The multimedia development method used consists of three stages, namely pre-production, production, and post-production. This research has succeeded in making a promotional video for the Bunton Pekuncen Tourism located in the Glempang Forest, Kec. Pekuncen, Banyumas Regency uses cinematographic techniques as a promotional media to attract outside visitors, especially millennials and help the bumdes economy in Pekuncen village. By testing through a questionnaire 46 respondents obtained the final result of the average acquisition of 76.1% in the agree category. It can be concluded that the application of cinematographic techniques as a promotional video for Bunton tourism to improve local tourism is worthy of being used as an additional promotional media tool by the Bunton Pekuncen Tourism Board.
