- The purpose of this study was to determine the level of student learning outcomes after application of the method of recitation by using worksheets in class VII SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Palembang, and a significant positive effect on the application of the method of recitation using student worksheets to the learning outcomes of students in class VII Muhammadiyah 4 Palembang. This research uses experimental research design where VII.A class as a class experiment with a number of 30 students and the class as a class VII.C control with the number of 29 students. This study was conducted on May 16, 2014 until May 30, 2014. Based on the calculation and discussion gained an average value of 82.35 experimental grade students included in the category of excellent, while the average value of student learning outcomes control class 75 , 15 included in the category enough. After calculation using t-test obtained t = 4.736 and 1.6715 for thitung table = > t table then H0 is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a significant positive effect on the application of the method of recitation using student worksheets to the learning outcomes of students in class VII SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Palembang
