- This research is motivated by the unavailability of teaching materials that can support the learning process of biology. This is because the teacher only focuses on the teaching materials provided by the school that are less concerned with the needs of students so they do not explore the students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to determine the results of the development of guided inquiry-based Biology Worksheets (LKPD) on circulatory system material in class XI of SMA 1 Penukal. This type of research is research & development. This study was conducted in the Odd Semester Academic Year 2018/2019 in State Senior High School 1 Penukal in class XI. This research is a development research that uses a development model version of Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel namely 3-D, which consists of (1) define (defining stage), (2) design (design stage), and (3) develop (development stage) . Data analysis techniques are validity analysis and practicality analysis of LKPD. The results of the study were based on the validation carried out, namely the validation of the content, appearance and language as a whole, namely the validation values obtained with an average value of 90.15 which included a very valid category. Based on practicality questionnaire data the teacher shows that the average score of 93.75 which meets the criteria is very practical. Based on practicality questionnaire data, students showed that the average questionnaire score of 84.60 which met the criteria was very practical. So based on small group trials stated that biological inquiry based LKPD guided inquiry is declared practical and can be used in groups that are larger.
