- The title of this research is Teacher’s Difficulties in Teaching English to Rehabilitation Students: A Case Study at MTs Arrahman Palembang. This study used a qualitative research with a case study research design which aimed at investigating difficulties encountered by teacher in teaching English to Rehabilitation Students at MTs Arrahman Palembang with one participant by using convenience sampling technique. In collecting the data, the researcher used face to face interview through open-ended questions by referring to 24 items. The data were analyzed by using thematic analysis technique. The results of this study showed that there were some difficulties in teaching English., as follows: a) emotional arousal, b) students’ anxiety, c) grammatical sensitivity, d) memory and learning, and e) inductive language learning ability.
