- Religion prohibit excess attitude it’s meant that prohibited consumptive behavior. Religion learn us qana’ah meant accepting what there is, learn simple, and not excessive. Unfortunately there is not many adolescents apply qana’ah in their life, the case can be seen from the way of the adolescents manage to fulfill their need and waste their money with the thing which less benefit. Involving qana’ah in this case is very important so adolescents can minimize consumptive behavior appropriate their needs and it will be not occured wasting and also it has a fair attitude in case consumptive. The goal of the research to know the correlation between Qana’ah with consumptive behavior. The characteristic of the research is quantitative with field research. The population of the research is the students of SMA Plus Negeri 2 Banyuasin III. Took the samples 155 students. The result of experiment hypothesis got R = -0,489 with p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). The result showed there is negative correlation significantly between Qana’ah with consumptive behavior to adolescent of SMA Plus Negeri 2 Banyuasin III. Can be concluded that the higher Qana’ah, so the less consumptive behavior to adolescent. On the contrary, less Qana’ah, the higher consumptive behavior to the adolescent.
