This study discusses the stress of learning in class XI students majoring in IPA and IPS of SMA Unggul Negeri 4 Palembang (Full Day School). The research is a type quantitative research with a comparative research design. Research subjects numbered 215 students of class XI majoring in IPA and IPs SMA Unggul Negeri 4 Palembang. data analysis method used to test the research hypothesis using the one sample t-test. Calculation data analysis using the help of SPSS version 20 for windows. The results of this studi indicate that there are differences in student stress in class XI majoring in IPA and IPS in SMA Unggul Negeri 4 Palembang. By showing the value of t count (142,473) < t table (105,256) then Ho is rejected, with a significances value of 0,001 < 0,05 Ho is rejected.
