- The dielectric constants and densities . of 2 :6-dirnethyl-\(\gamma\)-pyrole, 2-methyl 5-hydroxychromone and 2-methyl-7-methoxychromone, four flovones and two benzylidene-coumaranones have been measured at various concentrations and various temperatures. The dipole moments have been deduced by applying the new equation, and the values obtained have been compared with the values calculated theoretically.
