- Diazonium chloriders of sulphanilamidopyrimidinas reset at pH 1.0 in presence of cupric chloride wish acrylonitrile, acrylic eater, crotonic avid, and protonic ester to furnish \(\alpha\)-ohloro-p-pyrimidylsulphamidohydrocinnamic acid derivatives which on heating with EtOH-NaOH are converted into p-pyrimidyleulphamideeinnamio acids. Haleic said, however, yields \(\alpha\)-chloro-\(\beta\)-carboxy-p-pyrimidylsulphatmide-hydrooinnamis acid at pH 1.0 and p-pyrimidylonlpharaidoeinnamin acid at pH 3.0.
