- Synthesis of \(\omega\) -(3-alkyl-4-methoxyphenyl)-n-amylamines has been effected with a view to testing their amoebacidal activity according to the scheme : 2-alkylanisole → \(\gamma\)-(3-alkyl-4-methoxybenzoyl)- n-butyric acid → \(\delta\)-(3-alkyl-4-methoxyphenyl)- n-valerie acid → \(\delta\).(3-alkyl-4-methonyphenyl). n-valer-amide → \(\omega\)-(3-alkyl-4-methoxyphenyl) -n-amylamine.
