- Department of Chemistry, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (Received 8 March 1972) Ti[OP(O)R(OR)]4, Ti[OP(O)R(OR)]3CI, Ti[OP(O)R(OR)]2Cl2 and Ti[OP(O)R(OR)]Cl3, have been prepared by reacting titanium tetrachloride with dialkyl phosphites (ethyl, n-propyl and n-butyl) in different molar ratios, and their structure characterised by I.R. spectra. Thermal decomposition, under reduced pressure, of the compounds have also been studied.
