- FROM THE PROBLEM OF WORD FORMATION IN SERBIAN LITERARY LANGUAGE - Normatıve Accent - Summary Abandoning the Serbs’ and Croats’ joint language pulicy has imposed varıous dıvergent processes in Serbian and Croatian literary language. Particularly in the Croatian literary language, they are visible on different linguistic levels, and prımarily involve the field of word formation. In such conditions, the Serbs today are also confronted with the question of redefining certain Iinguisuc principles that are the basis for their literary language. In such a light, thıs article treats derivatives with the suffixes -de and -isa ın Serbian literary language.
