Thermodynamic Study of Chelation of Rare Earth(III) Ions with 2,3-Dihydroxynaphthalene (DON)

Forma­tion of 1 : 1 chelates are indicated. The order of stability is found to be Ho > Dy > Tb Y > Gd > Sm > Nd) Pr > La The thermodynamic stability constants and free energies of chelation have been reported.
