- Department of Chemistry, Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur-273 001 Manuscript received 5 July, 1982, revised 1 June 1983, accepted 24 June 1983 Twelve bis -thiosemicarbazides, twelve bis-(4-ary1-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)- alkanes, twelve bis-(5-arylamino-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-31)-alkanes and four bis-(5-mercapto1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)-alkanes have been synthesised. Some of them have been screened for their antifungal activity against A. flavus, H. oryzae and C. sacchari and found to be antifungal.
