A few disubstituted thioureas (VIla, b, c) have been prepared from VI. 4'-Hydrazino:flavone (IX) has been synthesised for the first time and has been used as an intermediate for the synthesis of some 4'-pyrazole and 4'-pyrazoline substituted flavones (XII and XIII).
